FMG's Strategic Intelligence
Matrix framework is applied research that is designed and managed
in partnership with our clients, FMG CXO-Teams and alliance partners. We
address critical client issues with the intent to make operations, that
is, all elements of a company that make up a company's competitive arsenal,
more measurably effective and strategically relevant. Our clients need to be informed of the competitive and market landscape; the possibilities and threats that exist, with the intent of making the decision-making process faster and more strategically deliberate about operational directives. Operational directives are the essence of strategy execution. Thus, the intersection of strategy, operations and execution is our general focus in determining the FMG research agenda. The use of research is tempered and enhanced by the experience of FMG CXO-Teams based on their combined knowledge of the industrial domains they inhabit. Ultimately, we're searching for competitive insight, a unique market driven strategy, and the corresponding operational directives that need to be executed to achieve tangible and measurable results. Data collection, collation and analysis are geared, first, toward informing immediate tactical requirements and, secondly, toward refreshing the analyses that are invested in directing longer-term strategies. Thus the research initiative provides client specific competitive intelligence that suggests new possibilities, new directions that had not yet been apparent or considered, or new key questions that must have be answered. |
